Alumni UV has organized an intense program to conclude the spring that will be developed through five activities from June 3 to 15. Two reading clubs, an outing to Borriana, the traditional and successful Star Night at the UV Astronomical Observatory, and a visit to get to know the rich heritage of the University's historical building make up this program.

The activity will start this week with the departure, on Saturday 3, in Borriana, aimed at both members of the group of friends and former students of the University of Valencia and the general public. With the title 'The migrations in the Mediterranean' and within the program Alumni Sharesi Marc Ferri, professor of Contemporary History and head of the Aula Didàctica de la Diàspora Mediterrània, will conduct a guided tour of the facilities of this project to explain and disseminate the present and past of migration in the Mediterranean among pre-university students.

With its headquarters at the Escola de la Mar de Borriana, the Aula was born with the aim of addressing the migratory phenomenon in all its complexity and away from sensationalism; as well as serving to highlight the valuable humanitarian work of the organizations that rescue migrants in the Mediterranean and those that help their integration into European society.

'The disoriented’ is an apology for difference and dialogue, a fierce defense of personal freedom of thought, culture, decision and action, a frontal opposition to any kind of tyranny, where the passage of time is fundamental and implacable.
