The IFA Congress took place on 27 and 31 October. It is considered the most important global meeting related to fiscal matters. Every year, the IFA Congress gathers the international scientific community and representatives of international institutions with the aim of discussing current legal topics about international fiscal matters.

Professor F. Alfredo García Prats, director of the ETICCs group and principal investigator (PI) of the project Prometeo XXITAX, was invited to participate as speaker in one of the main seminars. It was moderated by the professor Georg Kofler, who teaches International Taxation in WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and is also a collaborator of the ETICCs group.

The seminar in which the researcher García Prats participated focused in the most urgent and recent innovations of tax law from the specific angle of the Union Law.

The participation in an event of such international relevance position the ETICCs group and the Universitat de València as referents of excellence, not only in the area of international taxation but also in European Union law.
