Dr Andrea L. Riccardi Sacchi is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. She holds a postgraduate degree in Specialisation in Business Management and Administration and a Master in Business Administration (Universidad Católica del Uruguay). She also holds a Diploma in Specialisation in Taxes (Universidad ORT Uruguay) and a Master in International Taxation from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.
Since 2012, she has been a member of the Taxation Department of the Directorate General of Taxation (Uruguay). She has previous professional experience at PwC Uruguay (2003-2011) and Thomas Reuters (2011-2012).
She is an advisor to the IDB and alumni of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme, AECID and the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance. She has taught at the Universidad ORT Uruguay and participated in various national and international academic institutions.
