F. García Prats is a Professor of Financial and Tax Law and Head Jean Monnet Chair for EU Tax Law and Policy at the Universitat de València. He has held visiting professor and researcher roles at a number of leading international universities, including the universities of London, Harvard, Bergamo, Turin, Panthéon-Sorbonne, Bocconi, Georgetown, Leiden and Leuven. He has built a career in international public consultancy as an observer and advisor to the UN Group of Experts on International Tax Cooperation and as a senior advisor to the International Monetary Fund.
He is an expert in international and European tax and tax planning, corporate taxation and transfer pricing. He has published over 20 books and book chapters and over 100 papers in leading national and international journals. He has provided external advice to TPA, CMS-ASL and MOAR, and has participated in study and academic committees at the European Commission and the Spanish Ministry of Finance.
