Werner Haslehner is Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg, where he holds the ATOZ Chair in European and International Taxation. He is also Director of the LL.M. Programme in EU and International Tax Law. He joined the faculty as an associate professor in 2013, after having held full-time academic positions at JKU Linz and the LSE. He was appointed senior lecturer in 2015.

He was a visiting professor at the University of Paris I Sorbonne in 2018 and at the University of Turin in 2019, and will spend the spring of 2020 as a Global Research Fellow at New York University Law School. His research interests cover all aspects of international taxation, including the impact of EU legislation and tax policy.
