An Official Master’s degree is understood as a postgraduate set of regulated lessons with validity in the whole national area and in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) which have completed an elaboration and approval process in accordance with the legal regulations dictated by the Government and the Autonomous Communities (Acts, Decrees, Injunctions) recognised within the framework of the rules and agreements of the EHEA.
The University Master’s degree refers to studies that must overcome an internal regulatory process more elastic and diversified (at the university) thought to offer a type of training appropriate to the society’s demands. - WHICH UNIVERSITY MASTER’S DEGREE OFFERS THE UNIVERSITAT DE VALÈNCIA?
The Universitat de València renews its offer of university Master’s degree annually. There is no possibility to obtain any kind of validation of studies in the university master’s degree. Those are formative offers which are renewed annually and the syllabus of one edition and another is independent and cannot be validate. - WHO ISSUES THE POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS?
The university master’s degree of the Universitat de València will be issued by the Principal in standard model and it will be recorded at the title registry of the Universitat de València. In those certificates, specific mention shall be made on its lack of official nature. - CAN A FOREIGN STUDENT WHOSE CERTIFICATE IS NOT HOMOLOGATED ACCESS TO THESE STUDIES?
Yes, whenever it is authorised by the course direction. - MUST I PRE-REGISTER IN THE COURSE I AM INTERESTED IN¿

The payment of the enrolment rate includes:- The access to all the training actions of the course and/or to the virtual platform that supports to.
- The right to obtain a student card.
- The material that the direction of the course considers appropriate.
- A liability and accident insurance.
- CAN THE PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION BE DIVIDED?
Whenever its cost exceeds the amount of 500€ and the duration of the course is three months or more, the enrolment can be divided:- In those courses of three or more months and with an enrolment rate between 500 and 1,000 euros can be divided in two instalments 1/2 in the moment of the admission and 1/2 within two months after the start of the course.
- In those courses of three or more months and with an enrolment rate of more than 1,000 euros can be divided in three instalments 1/3 in the moment of the admission, 1/3 within two months after the start of the course and 1/3 within four months after the start of the course.
- In those courses of more than two years it is divided as follows: the 50% at the beginning of the first year and the remaining 50% at the beginning of the second year.
- ARE THE LICENSING FEES OF THE TITLE/DIPLOMA INCLUDED IN THE AMOUNT PAID?
The licensing fees of the title or certificate that accredits the implementation of the course on the part of the UV are not included in the amount of the enrolment. - IS THERE ANY KIND OF DISCOUNT WHEN PAYING THE ENROLMENT?
There is not a discount except for those aspects contemplated in the act 32/1999, on 8 October published at the BOE on 9 October 1999. - IN WHICH CASES CAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ENROLMENT BE REFUNDED?
Once matriculated, the student who de-register with justifiable reasons before 10 calendar days since the beginning of the course will get the 50% of the amount of the enrolment back. The cancellation will be justified always by one of the following supervening causes: disease, work, economic loss of the family unit or any other cause that in the opinion of the director is considered comparable to the previous ones. - CAN THE PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION BE PAID BY BANK TRANSFERENCE?
Only in exceptional cases, when the student lives abroad or when the payment through the standard procedure (over-the-counter payments for the first charge or direct debit for the other charges) is impossible. - INCLUDES THE PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION ANY KING OF INSURANCE?
Yes, the enrolled students are covered by a liable and accidents insurance within the course environment. - IS THERE A POSSIBLITY TO DO INTERNSHIPS IN COMPANIES OR INSTITUTIONS?
Yes, whenever the organisation of the studies contemplates it. These internships can be part of the syllabus and, in this case, all the enrolment students have to do them or they can be an additional supplementary training and it is optional to do them. Up to 900 internships hours can be made. - IS IT NECESSARY TO MAKE AN AGREEMENT TO DO THE PRACTICES IN THE COMPANIES/INSTITUTIONS?
Yes, it is necessary to sign an agreement between the UV and the company/institution to develop the internships. Sais Agreement shall be managed by the Director of the studies through the Fundación Universidad Empresa de València and shall pick up the basic data of the activity to develop during the internships as well as the signatures of the students, the tutors of the company and the tutors of the UV. - WHICH IS THE EVALUATION SYSTEM?
The organisation of each year will indicate the specific assessment procedures, but in any case, the successful completion of tests or exams is a necessary requirement to obtain the university certificate. The certificate or the accreditation document of the fulfilment of the course can only be requested when the postgraduate has finished.
