Laura  Badenes Ribera,  with a degree in Law, in Criminology and  in Psychology, Msc degree in Advances in Investigation and Treatments in Psychopatology and Health, in Sanitary General Psychology, and in Criminology and Security, and PhD in Investigation in Psychology. Currently, she works as Associate Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Sciences of the Behaviour of the University of Valencia and is Head of the Msc. degree in Health and Social attention to Dependency of the same university. She is member of the group of investigation ARMAQoL, focused in the investigation and application of methodology advanced to the quality of life. His areas of investigation include statistical reform in Psychology, statistical cognition, meta-analysis, sexual prejudice, violence and quality of life. She has several publications in prestigious journals with high impact, such as Trauma, Violence and Abuse, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, or Psychology of Violence, among other..

Biography
 

Laura Galiana Llinares, with a degree in Teaching in the Field of English language, with Outstanding Graduation Award (2005), degree in Psychology with Outstanding Graduation Award (2010), Msc. degree in Psychogerontology (2012) and PhD in Health and Social Attention to Dependency and Autonomy Promotion with Outstanding Graduation Award (2015). She currently works as a Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences of the University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group ARMAQoL, focused on advance research and methodology applied to quality of life. Her research areas include structural equation modeling and their application to the fields of professionals' quality of life, palliative care, and elderly, among others. She has participated in local (Biomed, Valoritza i Transfereix, Universitat de València; Fisabio, Generalitat Valenciana), national (Retos, Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia) and international research projects (GendernetPlus), both as a member of the research group and as the leader researcher. She has several publications in prestigious journals, such as Structural Equation Modeling, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Mindfulness, or Social Indicators Research.

Amparo Oliver, female. PhD in Psychology, Full Professor in Quantitative Methods Applied to Behavioral Sciences at University of Valencia, SPAIN. Head of the interdisciplinary PhD program in Promotion of Autonomy and Socio-Sanitary Care. Head of ARMAQoL research group (Advanced Research Methods Applied to Quality of Life, GIUV-2017-359). Four 6-year research periods acknowledged by ANECA. index h: 25, index i10 = 41.

 

Main domain: Research in advanced statistical models applied to quality of life and welfare promotion. Some particular fields with relevant gender perspective: successful aging; dignity & quality at the end of life (palliative care patients and professionals inner CV); gender violence (diagnostic and intervention); equity and entrepreneurship from education. About 120 publications in journals as Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Structural Equation Modelling, Social Indicators Research, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, European Psychologist, Work & Stress, etc.

 

Research visits & collaborations with Kenneth A. Bollen (UNC Chapel Hill), Alistair Cheyne (Loughborough University), Barry Schneider (University of Ottawa, currently Boston College); Julian Montoro (UNCC at Charlotte), Shane Sinclair (Calgary), Eve Ekman (San Francisco, USA), David Kissane (Monash University), Michael Silbermann (Middle East Cancer Consortium), in Brasil (CNPq) and Argentina (Prof. Gustavo de Simone, Pallium). Currently in a funded short research stay with Prof. Donna Hicks at Weatherhead Center for International Affairs Harvard (Boston, USA) an active center in Gender Studies (https://wcfia.harvard.edu/people/affiliates/weatherhead-initiative-gender-equity).

 

Research transference profile includes impact actions dealing to the Award in Research Transference 2016 given by Federation of Valencian Neighborhood Associations. Some nationwide contributions to quality of life promotion are audiovisuals evidence based for aging care: Tú que cuidas, cuídate (Caregiver self-care) and Buenos Recuerdos (Good Memories) on Early detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment. Intervention protocols as GES and KIBO at the end of life. In gender violence with ICT-enabled interventions on adolescence app Liad@s, and convicted abusers (Context Program with Prof. Lila). Finalist in International Documentary Film Festival MIRADAS.Doc 2013.

Rafael García-Ros is full professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Valencia, Spain. Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Engineering School ETSE-UV of the University of Valencia.

Degree in Physics (specialty of Electricity, Electronics and Computing) and PhD in Computer Engineering by the University of Valencia.

He has been the Dean of the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the Universitat de València ETSE-UV (2009-2015) and Vice-chancellor of Information and Communication Technologies of the Universitat de València (2002-2006).

He has participated in publications in books, articles in specialized journals and scientific-technical documents of Spanish and European research projects and has presented papers in dozens of scientific congresses in his field. Its current lines of work are databases and data science, learning management systems and computer systems for process management and quality.

He teaches, among other subjects, Database subjects in the Degree in Computer Engineering and in several masters degrees such as the Master in Data Science.
