A systematic review is an objective review of a clearly formulated question whose answer requires the integration of the empirical studies that have been carried out on it. Its aim is to systematically and objectively accumulate the evidence obtained in empirical studies on a given problem. Therefore, systematic reviews are secondary studies that synthesise the available scientific information through rigorous and explicit methods, which saves time for health and social care professionals and provides them with an overview of what the scientific evidence suggests about studies in promotion of the life quality.
