CONCEPTU MARIS
EU LIFE20 NAT/IT/001371
In order to improve the conservation status of cetaceans and sea turtles (CEPTU species) in the Mediterranean, information will be obtained from these marine vertebrates in offshore waters to identify important sites for the conservation of these species. An international methodology for the surveillance and assessment of maritime traffic and floating marine litter impact will be established. The coherence of protection measures with the spatio-temporal needs of CEPTU species shall be assessed. The most suitable mechanisms to promote the conservation of CEPTU species shall be identified. More details about this project can be found at the following link.
