Cinta Gallent will teach three SFPIE courses on cyberplagiarism, scientific publication fraud and AI-assisted research, focusing on academic integrity and research responsibility.

TeLL-ME research group member Cinta Gallent will be responsible for teaching three training courses in the SFPIE programme in the next call. Specifically, she will teach the courses ‘Cyberplagiarism in the context of university studies: fraud or a new form of learning?’ (7th edition), ‘Fraud in scientific communication and publication: the case of predatory conferences and journals’ (5th edition) and ‘AI-mediated research: where does the researcher's responsibility begin and end?’ (2nd edition).

This series of courses constitutes a specialised pathway that addresses, from a critical and applied perspective, emerging issues related to academic integrity, research ethics, and the impact of digital technologies on the processes of knowledge production and dissemination. In particular, it aims to analyse the phenomenon of cyber-plagiarism in the university context, examine fraudulent practices associated with non-rigorous publication channels, and delineate the frameworks of responsibility in research environments assisted by artificial intelligence systems.

From a didactic perspective, the training proposal is based on principles of constructive alignment and incorporates active methodologies focused on case analysis, problem-solving and critical reflection. Likewise, the use of formative assessment strategies is envisaged with the aim of promoting the acquisition of competencies related to scientific integrity and informed decision-making.

Cinta Gallent's participation reinforces the knowledge transfer derived from the research activity of the TeLL-ME group, contributing to the articulation between research and training in an area of particular relevance in the current academic context.
