The Sports Council (Consejo Superior de Deportes)/Spanish Ministry for Culture and Sport, in order to stimulate research teams to develop scientific and technological projects, has published grants for research projects in science and technology applied to health-enhancing physical activity (afbs for its Spanish acronym) and sports medicine.
