It is about involving students in tasks where they have to interact with each other and collaborate; these are activities that have many benefits for their learning.

  • Peer learning. Very useful for consolidating learning. Role-play or peer-teaching activities can be used, so that students have to explain concepts to each other as in peer learning.
  • Discussion groups. These should be structured groups in which collaboration is the key, insisting that they should be constructive groups. Once the ground rules have been established and the discussion has taken place, an analysis of the discussion will reinforce the learning.
