Conference "De novo protein design” by the professor William DeGrado

On 5th June, 2025 at 12 pm, in the Charles Darwin Room the professor from the UCSF, William F. DeGrado will give the conference‘De novo protein design’
The professor DeGrado, that 6 June will be invested as Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universitat de València, is internationally known for his pioneer work in the design of proteins and the discovery of new drugs, specially for creating the term "diseño de proteínas de novo" (’from scratch’), which makes reference to the design of proteins from fundamental principles, without being based in natural sequences.
