ConTD Hub Awards for Creativity and Audiovisual Industry
The Office of the Vice-Principal for Innovation and Transfer announces 20 places to take part in the training programme and compete for the awards of the first edition of the ConTD Hub Universitat de València with the aim of bringing together talented audiovisual staff and providing the opportunity for those who take part in this competition to acquire training to create innovative business ideas and conceive entrepreneurial projects in the field of cultural industries, acquire new experiences and establish contacts through their participation in specific training activities that require entrepreneurial skills.
This call for awards arises from the UVemprén Aprèn Programme for teaching innovation projects in university entrepreneurship aimed at the teaching and research staff of the Universitat de València. The programme is possible thanks to the collaboration agreement signed between the Universitat de València and Santander Bank to promote the Entrepreneurship Campus UVemprén – Santander Universities.
The call is aimed at official undergraduate, master's and doctoral students of the Universitat de València who have enrolled in specific centres in the academic year 2022-2023.
The director of the teaching innovation project in university entrepreneurship Con TD Hub is Germán Llorca Abad, tenured professor.
The programme will take place at the Faculty of Philology in 8 sessions. On 3 March 2023, the programme will be presented and students will be informed about the development of the event. On 3, 4, 10, 11, 24, 25 and 31 March 2023, in the mornings, those selected will participate in specific training activities that will allow them to create, design and present an innovative business idea with a triple impact: economic, environmental and social in the audiovisual sector. Each team will learn how to prepare a document as an executive summary of their innovation idea.
On 1 April 2023, the training will end and the ideas will be publicly presented to the Assessment Committee where each team will defend the viability of their project.
They will compete for the following prizes:
- Four ConTD Hub Universitat de València prizes of €450 each one for the best business ideas in the field of cultural industries.
Applications for participation in the programme must be submitted by filling in the registration form available at the following link, through a general request form addressed to the Entrepreneurship Unit (UVemprén), through the specific procedure “Con TD Hub Awards”. You must provide the document Annex II: application form. You must also apply for the scholarship SANTANDER UNIVERSITIES through the Santander Scholarships platform.
The deadline for submitting applications begins the day after the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Journal of the Valencian Government and ends on 22 February 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
