The Agroecology Market of the UV will take place on Fridays in the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences on Avenida Blasco Ibáñez, 30.

The following calendar of events has been organised for the month of December.

1 December - Tasting of market products and visit to La Tenda de Tot el Món with fair trade products.

8 December - Closed for bank holiday.

15 December - Celebration of “Land, Water, Life: the Palestine rural population in the face of ocupation” in the Faculty of Geography and History with a tasting in the Palmireno Hall at 12pm and a visit to the Market. 

22 December - End-of-the-year tasting and a raffle of baskets with products from the Market. With the participation of the Vicente Ferrer Fundación.

The Market will be open to the university community, as well as the general public.

It shows the University’s commitment to organic and local production. This initiative brings citizens closer to responsible consumption by highlighting seasonal products and products from Valencia’s local farmers. It’s purpose is to motivate citizens to consume products with a lower carbon footprint and that have a more environmentally friendly production.

The Market serves as a point of reflection about what we consume and how it affects our health, sustainability and the local economy.
