The registration period for the 17th Information Day of the Universitat de València addressed to guidance professionals and management teams of secondary schools is open since 13 December. This conference will be held on Thursday, 19 January 2023, in the Main Hall of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.

Aina Tarabini, PhD in Sociology and professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, specialist in sociology of education and in analysis of educational inequalities, will give the main conference of the day on the role played by lecturers in the processes of transition and educational choice, constructing and projecting images of the educational itineraries and capacities of their students that influence their educational decisions and careers. Afterwards, Alicia Villar, delegate of Academic Careers and professor of Sociology at the UV, will lead the round table on experiences Do you know the degree in...? Degrees to discover, about less visible degrees; Isabel Vázquez, Vice-Principal for Studies at the Universitat de València, will explain the novelties of the UV for the next academic year, and Toni Gil, general coordinator of the university entrance exams of the Valencian University System, will comment on the most important aspects of the Spanish University Entrance Examination 2023.
