The European Theatrical project Escena Erasmus of the Universitat de València, Honour Award of Valencian Performing Arts 2023, will play their last show, ‘Un instant de bellesa’, through 16 localities of the Valencian Community from the hand of Área de Cultura de la Diputación de València, the IVAJ-Carnet Jove and the University programmeUVSocietat.

The tour began in the Sala Matilde Salvado from La Nau Cultural Centre on 5, 6, and 7 July, and will continue during the next weeks until 6 July.

‘Un instant de bellesa’ is the first theatrical novel that tackles the tragedy of the Dana on 29 October, 2024, as well as other recent catastrophes such as wildfires or Italy earthquakes. The work explores the desolation as it follows the light flashes that coming from water, fang, fire or dust to finally reach the renaissance of life.

The script, represented by eight Erasmus and Valencian students, has been written by authors from the current cultural scene linked in some way to the tragedy: Carles Alberola, Carmen Amoraga, Máximo Huerta, Maria Andrés, Joaquín Camps, Marta Toso, Jaime Millás, Sara Olivas, Sergio Serrano and Anna Marí.

The work is directed by Josep Valero with the dramaturgy coordination led by Daniel Tormo.
