The Principal of the University of Valencia, following the proposal of the
University’s Emergency Committee in view of the evolution of the weather alert situation, maintains
the level 2 emergency status at the UV as of 00:01 on Monday, October 13.
Under this level 2 emergency, in-person teaching activities remain suspended across all
UV campuses and facilities. Teaching activities will be carried out online whenever
possible. Regarding external and clinical internships, actions will follow the instructions of
the company or institution where they take place. In any case, non-attendance will not have
academic repercussions for students.
As for other activities (administrative, research, cultural, and sports), it is recommended that they be carried out remotely or through teleworking. However, UV buildings and facilities will remain open during their regular hours, and in-person work will be allowed for tasks that require this modality, either due to their nature or the circumstances of the personnel involved.
Those responsible for each unit will coordinate the activities and work modalities of the staff under their supervision (PI, PTGAS) in order to ensure the continuity of services and activities that are not suspended.
The University’s Emergency Committee will monitor the situation and assess the possibility of modifying the alert levels depending on the meteorological developments.
The University community is advised to follow the instructions of the relevant authorities and check official updates at https://www.112cv.gva.es/en/
