Between September 8 and 13, the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) 'Implementation of Antimicrobials Discovery by Student Crowdsourcing through a services-Learning Strategy. European Microbial World (Euromiwo)' has been hold at the Faculty of Biological Sciences.

The BIP, organized by Professor Belén Fouz Rodríguez and Professor Sergi Maicas Prieto from the Department of Microbiology and Ecology, has had the participation of other three universities belonging to the FORTHEM Alliance, Universitá degli Studi de Palermo (Italy), Uniwersytet Opolski (Opole, Poland) and the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Germany). Students from Italy, Poland, Latvia and Ukraine have joined the program.
