The Principal of the University of Valencia, having considered the proposal of the University’s Emergency Committee in light of the evolving meteorological alert situation, declares Emergency Level 2 at the UV, effective from 00:01 hours on Tuesday, 30 September 2025.
At this Emergency Level 2, the suspension of in-person teaching activities across all UV campuses and facilities remains in force. Teaching activities will be conducted online whenever possible, and in accordance with the guidance of the lecturer responsible for each course.
Regarding other activities (administrative, research, cultural, and sports), it is recommended that, whenever possible, they be carried out remotely or through teleworking.
However, the UV buildings and facilities will remain open during their usual hours, and on-site work will be permitted for those tasks that require it due to their nature or the specific circumstances of the staff involved. Technical, management, and administrative and service staff (PTGAS) must coordinate their work schedule and modality with the administrative manager of their department, centre, service, or unit.
The University Emergency Committee will continue to monitor the situation and will evaluate the possibility of modifying the alert levels depending on how the weather conditions
evolve.
