The Intercultural Lab, the next event to be held on 30 September from 9:00-15:30, will be a hybrid meeting prepared by FORTHEM students as a result of a Civic Engagement project.

The aim of the meeting is to inform students about intercultural issues such as communication, experiences in new countries and the different challenges that can arise when having an exchange or intercultural experience. There is also the possibility for students to share their own thoughts, experiences and, of course, ask questions. Throughout the day, there will be some games and activities.

This FORTHEM event is for everyone who is interested in learning more about culture and intercultural exchange. You will receive training in intercultural communication from our professional coach Ellen and learn more about funding options for going abroad as a student. In addition, there will be a panel discussion where personal experiences and tips on working in an international team and going abroad will be shared. Last but not least, this is a good opportunity to get in touch with new people from many different countries who share your interests.

The event will be physically held in Jyväskylä -Finland- and students from all over Europe will join via Zoom (the link will be sent to participants after registration).

If you are interested, please register before Wednesday 28 September using the following form.
