The Universitat de València, as a member of the FORTHEM Alliance, enables different types of mobilities between the universities of the Alliance.
Matti Laukkarinen, a PhD student from the University of Jyväskylä, recently visited our university thanks to a three-month stay originated in the context of the FORTHEM Alliance. The research student, after discovering that the topic of his research had been discussed in a webinar of the FORTHEM Digital Transformation Lab developed by the University of Valencia, decided to contact the lecturer and, in this way, to explore the topic of his research in more depth. During his stay in Valencia, Matti has been working with Spanish colleagues, gathering international experience and progressing in his research topic. In addition, this first contact has helped him to become interested in the language and to continue taking Spanish classes.
