The regional minister Vicent Soler talks in ADEIT about the economic model necessary for the Valencian Community

The regional minister for Treasury and Economic Model, full university professor of the Universitat de València, Vicent Soler, will explain in detail the characteristics of the new economic model in a conference that will take place in ADEIT (University Business Foundation) on Monday 7th September, at 19:00h. The conference is titled ‘El modelo económico necesario para la Comunitat Valenciana’ (‘The economic model necessary for the Valencian Community).

The event will be presented by the president of ADEIT and of the Board of Trustees of the Universitat de València, Manuel Broseta. This session opens a new cycle of conferences organised in ADEIT, in which the main current and of interest topics for the Valencian society will be analysed.

Graduated and doctor in Economics of the Universitat de València, as well as Research Scholar of the London School of Economics, Vicent Soler is full university professor in Applied Economics in the Universitat de València in the Department of Economic Structure. He has been director of this department and dean of the Faculty of Economics.

His doctoral thesis was the first one presented in Valencian to the Faculty of Economics of Valencia in February 1978. His research has been progressively focusing in the field of economic geography. Individually or collectively, he has published 20 books. Also, he has published around 50 articles in different scientific journals and is author of numerous works on the Valencian society and economy.
