The Delegate for Students and SeDi Information and Promotion Service proposes to Universitat de València students a new edition of the Training Space of La Nau dels Estudiants, with 27 workshops that will be celebrated the week from the 7th to the 10th September at the Tarongers Campus, and in which over 700 university students and the citizenship in general could participate.
This year, the proposal of courses and workshops are focused on 4 topics: “Recursos para el Estudio, Campus Sostenible, Igualdad and Creatividad Audiovisual” (“Resources for Studying, Sustainable Campus, Equality and Audiovisual Creativity”). The training activities included in Recursos para el Estudio aim to develop the capacities needed for the academic life. With that objective some topics are offered to try to cover different needs of the students: apprenticeship strategies, oral and written expression techniques, stress control, time management, teamwork techniques and office automation workshops. This proposal, although destined to all the students, is highly advisable for new students. One of the novelties within Resources for Studying is the workshop “Claves para la realización del trabajo de fin de Grado” (“Key to carry out the undergraduate degree final project”), specially addressed to senior students.
The workshops Campus Sostenible, Igualdad and Creatividad Audiovisual are destined to the training on topics such as prevention of gender-based violence, the sexist use of language, fair trade, healthy nutrition as well as introduction to photography and image processing.
Most of the workshops and courses of this edition have ECTS academic recognition as well as the totality in free-elective credits.
The enrolment process starts on Wednesday 15th July at 10:00h through ENTREU (virtual office of Universitat de València), including the paying of taxes. The places of the courses are limited and will be filled in strict order of registration.
La Nau dels Estudiants is a programme that started on 1997 and that during the last years has been adapted to the new regulatory framework of higher studies. As well as the edition that will take place in September, another one is planned during the academic year 2015/2016 from February to March, once the first exam period has finished.
