Academic, scientific or professional interest: The Master's Degree in Economic Globalisation: Intervention and International Trade provides the body of knowledge, skills and tools necessary to establish and develop the lines of international trade policy and strategy that best suit the needs of a company committed to develop or refine a solid internationalisation process. All this is further reinforced by the presence of a significant component of economic analysis that encompasses the process of the globalisation of companies. It also meets the needs of institutions, both national and international, in charge of the promotion, regulation and analysis of international trade. The current economic situation is a challenge of exceptional magnitude for public institutions, financial bodies and non-financial companies and, thus, for all professionals who have responsibilities in these areas. These professionals are forced to respond efficiently to such factors as: the need to modify the internationalisation strategies, the constant pressure of growing international competition (but also of more opportunities in new markets); the responsibility to discriminate between multiple investment options -real and financial-, in many cases very difficult to evaluate; the obligation to study the weaknesses, to modify and to keep up to date with matters of accounting; the advantages of coordinating micro and macroeconomic policies. Therefore, the new generations who wish to enter that international labour market, global in its operation, its responsibilities and its objectives, must be prepared for the long list of challenges and opportunities that will arise. For this reason, this Master’s degree offers specific training focused on international trade, which deepens their prior knowledge and enables them to dive into this new economic world.
