Laia, a young Catalan teacher, moves to Kathmandu to work in a school. There, in addition to misery, he discovers a desolate educational panorama that excludes the most needy. After entering into a marriage of convenience to legalize his situation, he embarks on an ambitious educational project in the city's shantytowns, although he soon realizes that he needs help to make it a reality. She also unexpectedly falls in love with her husband. Following Sharmila, a young native teacher, she gets to know Nepalese society and even herself in depth. Drama based on the true story of Victòria Subirana, a Catalan teacher born in 1959, who discovered that her work was much more useful in a country without literacy training.
