101 vegades breu is an artistic proposal of scenic literature, stage and multimedia that takes as a starting point the book of Harem and other 100 micro-stories, by the Colombian writer Carlos Castillo Quintero, to turn reading into a live experience of voice, storytelling, interpretation, projected image and sound atmospheres.
Carlos Castillo Quintero (1966). Colombian writer, editor, and cultural manager. He has obtained national and international awards, and led creative writing workshops for more than fifteen years. He is the director of the magazine and publishing house Burdelianas Poetry. In 101 vegades breu, the authorship of the reference book, the conceptual direction of the project and the component of creative writing are provided.
Héctor Manuel Aguirre Montañez. Plastic artist, actor, puppeteer, and scenic director, with more than four decades of experience in theatres and cultural processes. He developed an important task at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia and in groups such as El Túnel theatre, of which he is a founder. In 101 vegades breu, he assumes the scenic direction, the storytelling, the staging of the texts, and the performative dimension of the recital.
