Antígona eterna (Eternal Antigone)
By Sophocles; Komos Group. Directed by Miguel Navarro.

After the fratricidal fight that caused the deaths of Eteocles and Polynices, sons of Oedipus, Creon, the new city ruler, prohibits Polynices’ burial under death penalty, leaving his corpse to rot for stray dogs and scavenging birds to feast on. Despite her uncle’s prohibition, Antigone decides to bury her brother, even if it means her death…
With Antigone, a masterful and complex work, Sophocles invites us to reflection, moderation and intelligence, virtues against which both Creon and Antigone sinned.

Colloquium every Wednesday with the companies when the function finishes
