Exhibition revisiting the pandemic via urban art

The exhibition A Temps 10i9 revisits the pandemic via urban art

The exhibition features interviews of artists such as J. Warx, Clara Muñoz and la Nena Wapa Wapa.

València, 27/10/2021. Atemps-10i9 is a transmedia work telling of how artists, photographers or muralists lived and experienced the pandemic in the city of Valencia. The exhibition consists of diverse formats such as a photo-cartography localising graffiti that allude to COVID-19 in three city districts; a journey to the past via audio recordings, environments and music to revisit the lockdown days and the video-recorded testimonies of artists telling about how their day-to-day was affected.

The work’s presentation will take place next Friday, October 1st 2021 at 8:00 p.m., with its location being La Nau Cultural Centre’s Matilde Salvador Hall. The exhibition has free access and can be visited for a month at the Cloister’s Ambulatory.

A Temps is also a digital experience: it will be possible for the public to collaborate in localising graffiti via Google Maps or sending their audio recordings and images tagging the project in social networks. We send a message today, with the pandemic still persisting, for tomorrow. When reality changes again, we won’t forget what we lived through, the way it changed us and that we’re all equal in the face of nature; we share the same frailty as humans, as well as our capacity for resilience.
