Alejandro Ruiz-Huerta is the sole attorney victim of the Atocha terrorist attack who lived to tell the tale. Whenever he tries to write his memoires, he can’t bring himself to tell about that fateful day. In an attempt to postpone said moment, he begins with his university years, and jumps from one age to another, this way composing a two-sided story: one of a person who fought for his ideas and paid the ultimate price, and one of a time that’s very important to understand Spain’s recent history
