Echoes of the Orchard and the Metropolis: Passages, Celebration, and Tradition

The concert pays tribute to the duality of Valencia: a great cosmopolitan city that coexists with the traditional and festive heartbeat of its countryside and villages.
It begins with the earthy and woody aroma of Música y vinos, by Manuel Morales, giving way to the profound folkloric lyricism of the celebrated Canciones de madre, by maestro Rafael Talens, followed by the ingenious impressionistic irony of Marcha Burlesca, by Manuel Palau. Next, the pasodoble Femme Força, by Merche Femenía, will be performed, a work imbued with the spirit of the Fallas festival, a celebration that unites the villages with the capital.
The traditional bustle will come from Coplas de mi tierra, also by Palau, whose lullaby will evoke the intimate summer evenings of Valencian villages under the gentle complicity of the night breeze. Finally, the vibrant and cosmopolitan pulse of Images of a City, by Cesarini, will close the concert by merging, within the same cloister, the echo of the huerta with the roar of the city.
