Each of these two authors has carried out important research on Spanish history of the last two centuries. Among their most recent works are two works entitled "Historia de las izquierdas en España" (History of the Left in Spain) and "Historias de las derechas en España" (History of the Right in Spain), which constitute the front and back of the evolution of our political reality. And they have dealt in each book with the histories of the traditions of the left and the right in our country. They have thus shaped two precise narratives that run parallel to each other, explaining backgrounds that hold the key to the present day, making us reflect on the two trends that capitalise on politics with a long-term vision, oriented towards the future but aware of the evolution that has taken place over the last two centuries.
