Colloquium with Antonio Marqués

On the occasion of the publication of "Hermandad"

Moderated by
Carlos Martínez Riera

Antonio Marqués Moreno (Tormos, 1966) is a physicist by training who combines a professional career in the field of R&D&I with his literary vocation. As an executive at a multinational technology company, he has traveled around the world, imagining better futures and striving to make them a reality through innovation projects that contribute to a more humane and sustainable society.

Hermandad is the author’s third novel and, following Óxido, the second installment in the adventures of Paco Ferragut, a peculiar private detective. The work blends a sharp sense of humor with a direct and effective prose style that hooks the reader from the very first page. On this occasion, we will accompany Ferragut as he investigates a network of political corruption, money laundering, “and the occasional Kalashnikov.” A gripping story that will carry the reader to the border between a smile and unease.

The discussion will trace the author’s career, focusing on his latest work and on the distinctive features of Valencian crime fiction.
