Salvador Enguix (Alzira, 1965) is a Journalist and delegate at La Vanguardia newspaper in the valencian Community, which he was a correspondent in Brussels between 1999 and 2003 for. He previousl worked at Canal 9, El País, Cadena SER, Levante-EMV and Diario Mediterráneo. He has a PhD in Communication by Universitat de València, and is a graduat in Information Sciences by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He received the El Temps Research Journalism Award by the València Council, the Cartelera Turia Award and the Eisenhower Local Journalism Award. As for his academic career, he published different papers and articles, highlighting Periodismo político: fundamentos, práctica y perspectivas (Political journalism: fundaments, practice and perspective)(2015) and Pseudopolítica: el discurso político en las redes sociales (Pseudopolitics: political discourse in social media) (2016), which he is co-author to. He currently combines journalism with a professor career at the València International University (VIU) and collaborates regularly with Cadena SER and À Punt.
