On its first part, this program performs some of the most well-known pieces of timeless and world-renowned authors such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi. Madera metálica also performs classical pieces of, generally, less-renowned authors such as Txaikovsky, Purcell or Edvard Grieg with famous songs that everybody will recognise.
The program presented by Tres a cordes is a travel proposal through all Europe, from north to south and from east to west with a common denominator in luggage: the vocal music with the cello, an essential part in the pieces selected. But they have even more things in common: not only were they musicians, but they also worked in the teaching field. Going beyond, the composers of our program are linked by a mysterious thread through the trip’s places and destinations. In addition, the group members of Tres a cordes also share this thread with their main characters. The artistic proposal includes pieces of the European musical Romanticism.
