Matilde Salvador takes us by the hand on a journey through Valencian musical creation of the 20th century. And she does it with her unique and different voice as a woman and composer, who fully participates in this artistic journey. Matilde Salvador's diary is a lively chronicle of one of the most creative musical minds who have walked through 20th century Valencia. Through her experiences we have a film full of colour of the Valencian school and its impulse for modernization that she represented. The poetry of the writers who made her resonate, as she said, comes to life between her fingers and, with their music, the words of the Valencian literary avant-garde becomes melody.
With this musical play and live music, Matilde Salvador hosts a journey through the music and poems that resonated throughout her life and that, we hope, still resonate in yours today.
This show has win the 2024 Evarist Garcia Valencian theatre award, organized by the Alicante Provincial Council.
