Elia Barceló (Elda, Alicante, 1957) started reading science fiction at a very young age because, from her first readings, guided by her father, she felt drawn to a genre that opened up infinite worlds and infinite possibilities for seeing reality, not only the future, but also the present and the past. She has always thought that science fiction is the genre that best defines our time and the only one that brings new themes to literature, which is why, when she started writing, she opted for it and all the variants of the fantastic.
