ELLAS (THEY): Trisha Brown, Pina Bausch, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. Through their work and their works, these internationally renowned artists offer an enormous sensitivity and a wide range of styles. The legacy of these three choreographers inspires NOSOTRAS (US) to learn and acquire references. And so, in our own way, we would like to pay tribute to them on the occasion of the Noche de San Juan 2023 show. As a teacher and choreographer, my intention has been to work with inspiration from some emblematic works by Trisha Brown, Pina Bausch and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. To treat some extracts of these choreographers from the idea of reconstruction, in a flexible and open way to adapt the technical and artistic demands and, in this way, to create a piece making the most of the best of each student so that they can show to the public the experience acquired throughout the course and their particular talent. May each of NOSOTRAS (US) be proud of our work and may it be reflected on stage. Christine Cloux.
