The Martínez Guerricabeitia family accompanies the memory of a century in Spain, from the idealistic fervour of the libertarians of the early 20th century to today's public concerns. The two brothers, José and Jesús, strongly influenced by the cultural and social ideals of their father, chose to participate in this story, always swimming against the current of the dominant ideas at each moment, preserving a critical gaze supported by strong utopian aspirations. They managed to build a publishing company as decisive as Ruedo Ibérico and a collection of art that was fully characteristic of the political and social painting of the second half of the 20th century, reaching today's generations with an essential memory of resistance against totalitarianism and the struggle for freedom.
