Synopsis:70% of the thirteen million Moroccan women are illiterate. In 2003 a new family code is voted, which seeks to bring justice and dignity to women. After years of struggle for pro-human rights by activists it seems that women should achieve their status as long as being human with full rights in equality and dignity; nevertheless the lack of access to information and the harsh living conditions represent an obstacle to their legitimate aspirations.
