SYNOPSIS

Summer of 1492. Bartolomé Gutiérrez returns to Spain after three years of captivity in Tunisia and intends to thank his uncle, a presumed monastery abbot, for freeing him.

What Bartolomé looks forward to doing the most is eating pork, his favourite delicacy. And he hears grunts in the midst of the night...
