SYNOPSIS
Krilli prepares the lobster soup. Alli, his brother, sits with the old fishermen, the last boxer of the island and the Icelandic translator of the Quixote. They find a daily solution to all the world’s big problems.
The soup is so exquisite that it attracts multitudes of tourist-loaded coaches. The soup’s success surpasses all expectations until catching the attention of ambitious investors. They want to buy the shop, make it bigger and hang a huge whale skeleton on the wall.
A delicious comedy, with sweet, spicy and melancholic ingredients, about the human soul and the community life which ends up turning into an in-depth analysis of the western consumeristic decadency.
