During the first part of the concert the Unión Artística Musical of Montroy presents the programme “Música y escena", making reference to the symbiosis between music and stage, both in the big screen and big stage, where music is able to make us feel different emotions in different types of scenes and situations. The concert begins with a paso doble by the composer of Cullera Rafael Talens dedicated to Yolanda Sánchez; following them, they will interpret the intermission of La leyenda del beso and will finish with a suite from the soundtrack of La máscara del Zorro, by James Horner.
In the second part, under the title “Resiliencia”, the Banda Sinfónica de la Sociedad Musical la Artesana of Catarroja, will interpret a repertoire with a common thread: hope, optimism and the human ability to come back after adversity. After the fatidic events on 29 October, 2024, the pain, the agony and the impotence must give way to optimism, hope and brotherhood, to remake themselves. They’ll begin with the paso doble Fina Blasco, by the master Talens, followed by the Overture to a new age, by Jan de Haan, and the Fantaisie brillante, by J. B. Arban, along with the soloist trumpet player, that will transport us into a festive and virtuous environment. To finish, the symphonic poem Crusoe Island, by Salva Luján, will be interpreted. It will make us go through many emotional states: from the tranquillity, nerves and fear for a storm, to calm and happiness.
