Plany en la mort d’Enric Ribera
By Rodolf Sirera

In 1972, Rodolf Sirera wrote what has become not only an essential and fundamental work of his playwriting, but of Valencian theatre in general: Plany en la mort d’Enric Ribera Structured as a choral symphonic piece, it reviews, in the form of an obituary, the biography of a fictitious actor, Enric Ribera, without leaving aside questions such as the political validity of Valencianism and the linguistic problems in our country. The work offers a conscious portrait of bilingualism (or diglossia) in the Valencian Country, through the linguistic uses of its characters.

Colloquium every Wednesday with the companies when the function finishes
