La Nau Theatre
“Who am I when no one looks”
By Daniel Tormo and Anna Marí
With Escena Erasmus UV and Culture Valencian Provincial Council
Directed by Josep Valero.
Escena Erasmus, in this fifteenth show, has chosen identity as its theme. Because... what is it that defines us? What is it that makes us feel part of a people, of a country, of a football team, of an ideology, of a community of people, of somewhere?
From the witnesses and reflections of the actors and actresses you will see on stage, from five different states, we have prepared this show to think about who we are and why. But also to celebrate, with a big smile, that we live in a place - Europe - that still allows us to speak publicly about what we feel and love.
In a troubled world, once again threatened by the horror of war, lies and absolutism, but also by individualism, self-censorship and the distorted projection of the "self" in the virtual world, we have decided to stop and think about who we really are.
Because who are you when no one is looking?
Colloquium every Wednesday with the companies when the function finishes
