Silent Movie, Mel Brooks, 1976

Presentation: Irene de Lucas

Satirical homage to North American silent films, in which great stars such as Paul Newman or Burt Reynolds parody themselves. Mel Brooks plays a director who proposes what he considers a fantastic idea: to make a silent film. He is convinced that his original idea will prevent the disappearance of the cinema studies he works for. (FILMAFFINITY)
