"The Tribe" (Roxy Shih, 2014).
A deaf-mute teenager goes into a special boarding school, where he must form part of a savage group in order to survive, called “the tribe”. This gang commits all type of crimes. In love with a leader’s lover, he will defy the non-written rules in the hierarchy of the gang. This film needs no dubbing or subtitles, since all communication is non-verbal. Love and hate do not need translation.
All screenings will be in original version with subtitles with a presentation and a discussion
