The exhibition “The Unknown” of the photographer Sandra Sasera Cano creates a game of perception that invites the viewer to dream. This photographic project, set in the city of New York, constructs, through a series of characters, a puzzle of stories that the viewer has to connect. The artist focused on anonymous people and separates other’s experiences to elaborate an incomplete short story, whose interpretation depends on the feelings and moods of those who gaze at her images. Thus, “The Unknown” is conceived as an interaction between the author and the viewer, where the last one will mark the path of the story. Photography is used in this work as a medium of expression to create a fiction that encourages us to reflect about the narrow limits of “truth”
