The Valencian Bibliographic Society Jerònima Galés was born in 1994, took the name of Jerònima Galés in honor of the first printer woman, wife and widow of prestigious Valencian typographers, first of Joan Mey and after of Pedro Huete, and mother of Felipe and Patricio Mey, followers of the noble art of printing throughout the sixteenth and
seventeenth centuries.
