Japan, 19th century. Zatoichi is a blind tramp who makes money from betting and giving masages. But besides that, he is a master swordsman, fast and accurate as the best samurai. In a mountain city, at the exepnse of Ginzo’s band, Zatoichi and his loyal friend Shinkichi meet two beautiful, dangerous geishas. They are sisters, Okinu and Osei, and they have come to the city to avenge their parents; their only clue is a mysterious name: Kuchinawa.
